Honda Crossover – 7seater SUV/MPV

Remember those spy pics of an unknown Japanese model caught on camera in LA a few weeks ago, that Autoblog.com managed to obtain from a reader? Well, the only thing remaining unknown for now that is, is its name.
As many of you may recall, a few days ago we posted an article concerning Honda’s future product plan for the period 2007-2009. Among others, Honda announced its plans to introduce a new model which integrates the design and mobility of an SUV and the functionality of seven-passenger seating in spring 2007. This is it!

According to our sources the 7 seater Crossover has a total length of 4.285mm, a width of 1.755mm and a height of 1.670mm which means its more compact in all dimensions in comparison to the new CR-V. On the other hand, it features a wheelbase of 2.700 mm meaning it's 80mm longer than the CR-V's. The Crossover will be available with two engines, a 140 Hp 1.8 litre and a 150 Hp 2.0 V-TEC both of whom will be offered in 2WD and 4WD versions. We’ll have more on the Crossover later on
